The need to provide a safe and secure environment is an essential part of attracting tenants and keeping a high rate of occupancy. The Challenge

Like most property management firms, Osgoode encountered several common challenges which affected their day to day operational efficiency and raised several safety concerns. These challenges included the ability to adequately monitor traffic in and out of their buildings and the safety and security of their tenants. Addressing and preventing incidents of theft, vandalism and violence required a significant investment of time and resources in order to respond to each event. Osgoode was looking for a solution which enabled them to manage multiple locations remotely and provide them with high quality footage of events taking place at their properties.

The Solution

In responding to these common challenges, Double Vision integrated a video surveillance network with over 100 cameras strategically placed throughout multiple high-rise properties, providing high quality footage to monitor and record activity. Security was further enhanced by retrofitting 75 doors across these properties with an online access control system, which enabled management of traffic through various areas. Since both systems can be accessed remotely, Osgoode Properties can now efficiently manage both systems from the convenience of their head office.
