What is a People Counting System?

A people counting system is exactly what it sounds like. It counts the amount of people walking into and out of an entrance. The data is stored for a period of time and can be accessed for analysis purpose. The same analytics can also be applied to count vehicles and bicycles, if needed.

How does the People Counting System Work?

We embed a piece of software onto an IP camera and basically turn into a counter. The camera is mounted just above the entrance way and once it is programmed it will detect the direction which the person is walking (in or out) and count each way. All of the counting is done at the edge (in the actual camera) and the complete solution is very simple and easy to use.

We can deploy the solution at a single location or at multiple locations and there are many different ways to access your data. We can design a consolidated system which allows you to login to one web-based user interface and generate multiple reports across all your stores.
