A
common problem that several businesses face is the ability
to expand on an existing video surveillance system.
In most cases, a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is purchased
with a set amount of video inputs (4, 8, 16, 32, etc).
As the system grows, most customers reach a point where
the video inputs are maxed out and the only solution
is to purchase another DVR to accommodate the new cameras.
This huge cost to expand the video system usually deters
customers from expanding their system or it forces them
to relocate cameras.
